Teaching mythology is the very first attempt of teaching History in Greek primary education. The History student’s book of the 3rd grade is the only one that includes such information about mythology. The suggested teaching methods and the provided material are however issues to be discussed. Hoe important does it seem for a teacher to find further information besides the ones that are included in the book? Which is the best way to use all this material in order to create an interesting lesson? There is an attempt to give answers to all these questions such as the above mentioned.
The most important issue however which is raised in this paper is the fact that the teacher should widen his research area and find creative activities in order to make his students active in the teaching process and thus widen the teaching outcomes as well.
