This Business Project aims to introduce the idea of convergence in Global-Net
Solutions, and help the GO / NO GO decision on entering the electricity trade for the
owner. Starting with the position that there is no convergence of telecom and
electricity in the economic sense of the term, the term and the concept are used in
their "market" sense.
In the project are discussed issues related to diversification and economies of scope.
Also presented the competences perspective (which are the core competences that can
be leveraged in the new market or what new competences might need to be
developed and how distinctive they are). Finally included are the customer and the
issues of cross-selling (to the existing customer base) and the switching costs
(changing service provider) involved and attracting of new customers.
