This dissertation was written as a part of the MSc in E-Business and Digital Marketing at the International Hellenic University. Collaborative analytics were thoroughly examined in the context of an unofficial learning social network and insight into how actual users coexist a cooperate online was gained. The aim of this thesis was also to highlight the semantic technologies and propose a schema that encapsulates semantically enriched data along with data that derive from learners’ online interactions in order to leverage users experience by exploiting the whole spectrum of learning activities and adding a new sense to practices that already take place.
