This dissertation was written as a part of the MSc in Energy Building Design at the International Hellenic University. The main topic examined is a reference building and its energy simulations, in order to answer how the structure is influenced by climate change, which consists one of the most serious ongoing environmental phenomena in our days. It is of great importance and interest to research the impact of weather alteration on the building as years pass. To be more specific, the same building is studied for the years of 2010, 2040, 2050, 2060 and for 7 different cities all over Europe. In addition to this, different climatic sources, like multiyear climatic data and freely-available data contribute to the simulations performed, while at the same time, comparison between the results of the unlike weather sources is being conducted.
