This dissertation was written as a part of the MSc in E-Business and Digital Marketing
at the International Hellenic University. Scope of the dissertation is to review how currently EU public services approach the efficient and effective access to national and
cross-border base registries. Identify Patterns in the way of working, identify points of
attention and raise questions for further research.
The reader will have the chance to familiarize with the concept of Master Data Management and the newly introduced term Base Registry in order to follow up with the key
observations.
