This dissertation was written as part of the Executive MBA at the International Hellenic
University.
The purpose of this project is the development of a business plan of a new Activity
center and Hotel in the region of Tzoumerka Mountains. The potential customers of
the Hotel will be alternative travelers who are in love with the nature and the
environment. Firstly, is referring to the Tourism industry as a critical economical sector
for Greece with many opportunities for further progress. Following, an environmental
analysis of the business and a SWOT analysis is presented and a detailed business and
financial plan with all the potential revenues and costs. In addition, is discussed a
marketing strategy policy with emphasis in the segmentation of the market, the
targeting policy and the position of the business. At the end, the paper closes with a
4P’s analysis of the market and implementation strategies.
