This dissertation was written as part of the MA in Art Low & Economy at the International Hellenic University. The underwater cultural heritage in Greece faces various dangers and needs protection. The national & international legislation provides measures and solutions. The local authorities also play a significant role in the protection & preservation of the underwater cultural heritage of the country aided by new technological means.
