Data Policy

For full-text documents / digital objects:

1. Everyone has access to full-text documents / digital objects free of charge.
2. Copies of full items can be:
   1. used according to the terms and conditions of the use license attached to each one of them,
   2. used for personal study and research for educational and not-for-profit purposes without any prior permission or charge, unless otherwise defined in the use license.
   Provided that:
   1. the authors, title and full bibliographic details are given,
   2. a hyperlink or URL is given for the original metadata page and
   3. the content is not changed in any way, unless otherwise defined in the use license.
3. Full items must not be sold commercially in any format or medium without prior permission of the copyright holders, unless otherwise defined in the use license.

Please note the following:

1. Some full items are individually tagged with different rights permissions and conditions, which will be included in the public record display.
2. Embargo periods may be applied based on publisher policies or at the request of the copyright holder, restricting access to item(s) for a given time.
3. Personal data or other private information is confidential and so public access to such information is prohibited.
4. IHU Repository is not a commercial publisher; it is merely the online archive.
5. Mention of IHU Repository – the Open Access Institutional Repository of International Hellenic University – is appreciated but not mandatory.
